 POSITION TITLE:      HR Coordinator

REPORTS TO:            Director of HR Operations

FLSA:                          Non-Exempt (Hourly)

SCHEDULE:                Full-Time 8:30am to 5pm Monday through Friday


 The HR Coordinator is responsible to provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department in a variety of areas including: employee relations, training, talent acquisition, onboarding and offboarding, and organizational communication.


The deliverables for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Serves as the first point of contact for human resource-related inquiries.Responds to all communication to the Completes and facilitates verifications of employment in partnership with outsourced HR resources.  Responds to all HR-related questions for intranet (TeamWorks) and provides technical support and assistance to end users. Creates and distributes weekly email for organizational communication.
  • Manages onboarding and offboarding. Creates and completes onboarding and offboarding checklists for employees as they enter and leave the organization. This includes coordination with Operations, Sales, Senior Leadership, and IT. Assigns and coordinates the appropriate HR-related trainings with managers and leadership.
  • Provides administrative support to talent acquisition. Opens and closes job postings. Generates and distributes offer letters when requested. Assists in coordinating background checks and supporting the background check process.
  • Manages and coordinates unemployment process. Works as a liaison between outsourced HR partner and leadership to coordinate and prepare for unemployment hearings. Responds to questions and provides documentation for evidence in unemployment cases.
  • Provides administrative support to Chief People Officer and Director of HR Operations. Provides administrative support to Chief People Officer including coordinating travel arrangements, managing schedule and meetings, coordinating events, creating PowerPoint presentations, and other duties as assigned. Saves payroll reports and master downloads in appropriate files. Provides reports as requested. Updates org charts and phone lists when staff is hired, promoted, or leave.


 The qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

 2+ years administrative experience in a similar capacity.

  • Bachelor's degree or applicable work experience required
  • Beginner experience with Microsoft Excel including summations, formulas, copy and paste function.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word including Mail Merge, making labels, creating outlines and agendas.
